Well... it's official. I'm old.
I mean, it's no surprise. My kids have been telling me for years, but it still crept up on me. My BABY is almost 8, and will be getting baptized! I can't even express how excited she is for this big step in her life.
I can hardly believe that this will be the last time that I will be watching one of my own children enter the waters of baptism. It's a bit surreal. I've had a lot of "firsts", but it's the "lasts" of life that really get me.
We decided to spend some time getting a few photos to use in her baptismal program and her invite. The mosquitos were out in full force, so we only had minutes before this girl was DONE with a capital "D"!!
I am so happy with the shots we managed to get, and the look and feel of "promise" that she evoked in these photos.
She is so anxious to follow in the footsteps of the Savior and be baptized. And we are anxious to support her. We love you, JJ!
Yep it'll be great to be eight!

photos turned out great! Looks like a cute dress. I guess there isn't much age difference between our youngest girls...a month or two. time does fly, for sure...too fast when it comes to kids!
My oldest child just turned 8 last week . . . now I'm old too! Her baptism is the end of this month and I am just as excited (maybe more excited?!) as she is! This photo session turned out so gorgeous. Congratulations mama and happy birthday to your girl.
