Running Project Life Cards Through The Printer

I have been working on my Project Life album of our summer vacation from last year. Here is a layout that came together in a few minutes. That's my favorite thing about Project Life!
Before starting the album, I cut a bunch of random "Summer" shapes out of kraft cardstock on my silhouette and have it on hand to just stick onto cards and photos whenever the urge hits :) I used the Project Life 3X4 punch to punch out a few photos and slipped them in the protector, and pasted one of the 3X4 photos into a vertical 4X6 card. The die cut sun added just the right touch.
I used a circle punch to punch out that cute picture of my daughter's "Beach bum" and used letter stamps to add the title underneath.

I then ran my cards through the printer for my journaling. My method for doing that is to create a text box in Word, size it to fit on the card, type in my journaling and print it on a piece of regular printer paper (on the draft setting to use the least amount of ink possible). Then center my journaling cards over the journaling on the paper, and I tape my cards on using scotch tape (being sure to tape the top so it doesn't get caught in the printer) and run it back through the printer - voila! The journaling prints right on the cards where you want it to be. Carefully peel off the tape and you've got your journaling printed on your card. Using this method allows me to run 2-3 or even 4 cards through the printer at once, without changing the settings on my printer over and over. It works for me!

Thanks for the text box tip for multiple cards at once! So smart! :)

This is some on time info for me :) I am currently working on my PL album and I used my Silhouette machine and sketch pens to do the journaling. This seems much, much easier ;) I also have that same set so your pages have really inspired me!
