Autumn in the Air!

I really love this season - it's one of my four favorites. I love the colors, the crispness to the air, the smells (you know what I mean), the excuses to snuggle in warm at home with a mug of hot chocolate. I love autumn!

Speaking of hot chocolate. I believe you asked me for the recipe for pumpkin spice hot chocolate. Okay, hold on to your seats, 'cause here it is:

Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate:

Make one mug of regular hot chocolate from a mix, or from scratch (I use the mix - I'm all about easy!)
Take 1/4 tsp of pumpkin spice (bought at Super store, or wherever) and stir in.
Top with whipped topping
Sprinkle whipped topping with more pumpkin spice.

That's it!

No magic recipe, sorry. Simple as just adding some pumpkin spice to regular hot chocolate. I love it, though - and think it tastes better than the one my hubby bought me from Starbucks!

I've been so busy with photoshoots lately, and with 3 booked this week - the weather decided not to cooperate. Rain and high winds... all week~ SO, a couple of phone calls to reschedule and I've got 4 next week. Great for a break this week, but going to be a busy one next week!

Speaking of photoshoots - check out these 2-almost-3-years-old twins. Yes, you heard right - another set of toddler twins! Can they be any cuter? NO WAY.

And talk about giggly! I loved how they both stuck their tongues out when they were laughing hard.

Such a great family. It was a pleasure to photograph them. And I loved the colors they chose for their photos. Nice, right?

It's been a good couple of days. I loved the Relief Society broadcast on Saturday - very uplifting and encouraging. I was a little annoyed with the lack of reverence in our sacrament meeting on Sunday (one of those weeks) but our Relief Society class was SO reverent you could hear a pin drop (and we have carpeting!) It was appropriate since our lesson was on reverence and respect. Reverence is so important, and I was reminded how reverence and love go hand in hand, and reverence and REVELATION also go hand in hand. I've made it a goal to have more reverence in our home and though it's only been a couple of days, I think we've been doing pretty good around here.

And speaking of doing good.... this song has made me so happy. We had a rough morning this morning - even with all of our intentions to be joyful and happy - so I plugged in the iPod to our speakers, selected this song, blasted it, and danced around like a bunch of mad fools until we were all singing and laughing. And you know what? It was a good, good day!

I had Cory buy this song for me on Itunes, and he doesn't think it is appropriate- how it says do it, do it- I told him it doesn't have to mean "do IT" silly boy. okay, your version is a bit different, but I just love the beat! fun.
