Daisies!

After nearly a week of straight downpours, we were able to get into the yard to see the damage. The weeds have taken over and the flowers are struggling to stand upright, but they should be fine. We'll need a good lawn mowing before I can attack the weeds and I'll have to spray the bug repellent on THICK! BUT, our pumpkins are coming up nicely, our perennials are all blooming beautifully, and we even found some daisies here and there in our yard, which is a first!

There is always a silver lining to every cloud, right? And seeing a beautiful rainbow? Priceless.

Here are the camera settings for the daisy picture, so you can try it, too!

What was your appeture at for the picture of daisies where the little girl doesn't show? The boka is amazing and I have yet figured out how to get mine that good when something is so close to the focal point.

Your photo is so beautiful. I keep telling my husband that I *need* the 85mm lense but he disagrees with me. The daisy photo that you took is exacly what I strugle hard to take. I have the canon fixed 100 macro 2.8 lens and I have the fixed 50mm /1.4 lens and I can not get what your getting with the 85 mm lens. It must be me.:(
Thank you for all of your help Bobbi-Jo. I will be showing Wayne your photo tonight when he gets home. :)
