Celebrating 400 Giveaway! $25 Gift Certificate to Chapters!

Didn't we just celebrate 300 followers here? I can't believe how awesome you guys are! We've reached 400!! I can't express how joyful you make me every day with your kind comments, fun ideas, and love. You are the reason I do what I do, and you deserve to treat yourself to a little something fun :)

How does a $25 gift certificate to Chapters sound?! Summer is on it's way, and there is nothing so relaxing as sitting back with a glass of lemonade and a really good book. SO, one lucky reader will win $25 to spend on anything they like at Chapters. Just a small token of my gratitude for all of you.

*This is open to all Canadian and U.S. residents*

How to enter:
You must be a follower here to be qualified, then just leave a comment telling me the name of your most recent favorite book. I'd love to get some ideas for some new summer reads :)

More Entries (leave a comment for each additional entry):
  • "Like" my facebook page (a great way to stay up to date on the latest and greatest)
  • Blog, FB, or tweet about the giveaway (just one entry total)
So, that means you can leave up to 3 entries! I will be posting a winner one week from today (June 15th) so that means you need to get your entries in by midnight on June 14th. Good luck!

The book I am reading now is Beyonders by Brandon Mull, I loved the Fablehaven series so I thought I would give his new series a try.

My most favorite recent book discovery is the Flavia de Luce series by Alan C Bradley. The first book is called Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie. These are what I call "light" mysteries (nothing gruesome or disturbing.) You can't help but love the main character-- an 11 year old chemist. :)

Clair is right...The Flavia De Luce series is great!

Right now I am reading the $64 Tomato: How one man nearly lost his sanity, spent a fortune, and endured an existential crisis in the quest for the perfect garden.

So funny!

My most recent favourite is "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" by Mary Ann Schaffer and Annie Barrows. Such a good read!

Congrats on 400! You are THAT magnificent!

My most recent finish are the Fablehaven books which I loved. So next up, I'm debating on starting the Beyonders or the Leven Thumps series. Both Brandon Mull and "Obert Skye" are fun writers.

I just finished "Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet" by Jamie Ford. It's an incredibly beautiful book. Lots of anachronisms but it doesn't matter because it is so nice to read. The one before that was "Beautiful Assassin" by Michael C White. It is so fantastic and a very interesting read I couldn't put it down!

Yesterday I read The List by Melanie Jacobson. It is a quick read, a sweet little romance but so cute! The main two characters are so witty, I kept laughing out loud at their banter back and forth. It was a perfect, Sunday afternoon, chill out book to read.
