Eh, Oh!

Go Canada Go!

What a whirlwind couple of weeks, eh? Who knew we had 14 gold medals in us? 14! That's a new record for the most gold medals won in a winter olympic games! YES! It's been quite the experience to watch coverage of Canadians proudly wearing their red and white, spontaneously breaking out into renditions of "O Canada" in the streets, and shedding the stereotype of being an extremely reserved people. We are proud of our heritage, our culture, and even our overt politeness (sorry about bragging).

We are Canadian, and we proved to ourselves that we CAN excel, and that it's okay to believe in ourselves. We were wonderful hosts, we had a lot of fun, and we came together as never before. I am thrilled I am alive to witness this past week. It's going to be a big part of my history - so many moments captured in time for me.

I. Am. Canadian.

And proud of it.

(sorry)

:)
