5 Minute Dollar Store Candy Dish Makeover!

Here is the quickest tutorial ever to create a fun candy dish on a stand from the dollarstore! What you'll need....a glass candy dish that is flat on the bottom (like the short one with the lid in the second photo- hello, $1!!), a glass candlestick (again, $1 - talk about breaking the bank!), and some Epoxy glue (once again, $1 from the hardware section of the dollarstore). Similar to these ones:

Twist off the end of the epoxy glue and squeeze it out into a plastic tray (can use the plastic from the packaging) then stir it until it combines. Then, glob it on to the top of the candlestick.  Stick the glass candy dish on top and wait for five minutes, or until the epoxy sets. Add a cute ribbon, and you've got a cute candy dish on a stand! This photo shows one candy dish without the candle stick glued on, then the one with behind it.
Here is a closer look at the finished product:

Fancy, and for only $3 including the epoxy....you seriously can't beat it. I can't wait to switch up the ribbon and candy for different seasons, too. I used the same principle to make these treat stands, too.

Happy crafting!!
