Tutorial Tuesday - Ray of Light (*And some cute preggo pics!)

I'm doing something a little different this week for Tutorial Tuesday. I came across an awesome website with many unique tutorials for Photoshop Elements, and I LOVED this one. It's a technique to add a fun ray of light to your photo. I thought the tutorial was very intuitive - easy to follow - so instead of duplicating it here, I thought I would just send you along to the original website. HERE is where you can find this fun tutorial, and this is what I did with it:

Original: I think this would work so well with a photo with an overexposed (super bright) window in the background, or a photo where the sky or sun is very bright. Give it a try! If you have any questions, or need help with any of the steps just email and I'll try to help you out!

I haven't been great about my tutorials lately, I know. I've been very busy doing fun things like this recent maternity shoot:

Can you believe this gal was only 2 weeks away from her due date??? Why couldn't I have had that tiny tummy. She carries it all inside, I guess. What a lucky gal.
She and her husband were so cute - so sweet and lovey with each other. She told me that if she knew maternity photos would get her husband to be all romantic, she would have done this a long, long time ago. LOL!

This isn't their first baby - they brought their two year old little guy with them and he was so, so sweet. He didn't speak much english as his mom is french speaking, and he was being raised french-speaking as well. But, we managed to communicate somehow ;)
And he sure LOVED his baby! He loved to kiss his baby (which was actually his mom's tattoo - he thinks THAT is the baby! lol!!!) Thought he was so funny.
I'm lucky enough to be photographing their new arrival when the day comes - so excited! Hope everything goes well for you, "B" family!

So beautiful, so sentimental, so comforting. Thank you for sharing the photos and the story. I'm new to scrapbooking - I love taking pictures with my Nikon and I love photo tips.

Love your blog!
